Trusted Guardianship Services for Wards and Estates
A guardianship is a court-appointed responsibility in which The Bank of Herrin holds and manages assets on behalf of a ward. These duties include making regular reports to the court.
Duties of a guardian could include any or all of the following:
- Medical insurance claims
- Collecting Social Security payments
- Preparing Tax returns
- All financial matters relating to the estate of the ward
The courts can appoint the Bank of Herrin as guardian of the estate of a minor.
We can also act as guardians to the estate of a disabled adult who is no longer able to manage their financial matters.
